Good Return provides people living in poverty with access to responsible microfinance and skills development opportunities.
Fund a small loan to tide a family over during hard times, and help them flourish in the good.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has recently changed the rules around licensing for charities like Good Return. For us, this means we need to apply for an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) in order to provide the option of making a standard (repayable) loan. Standard loans will be temporarily unavailable while we apply for this license. You can still support women with donated loans, helping them to take the next step away from poverty.
When donated loans are repaid by the borrowers, the funds are reinvested in training programs to help their communities learn financial skills and build confidence. And by donating your loan, you receive a tax deduction and your contribution is partially matched by the Australian Government's ANCP program.
If you have any questions or concerns about these temporary changes please do not hesitate to contact us on emailus@goodreturn.org or tel: +61 2 9114 8111
