Maria Ranadi

In Fiji, kava is a popular non- alcoholic beverage for village folk. Maria (42) was raised on a farm and now intends to cultivate the pepper trees whose dried root supplies the kava powder. She and her husband may also start exporting kava. So Maria seeks a loan to buy seeding and propagation materials, and pest controls to protect the growing plants.

Most loans in Cambodia are repaid in a single final installment. In this case, you will receive only one repayment notification instead of monthly updates. This is because many of TPC's clients are farmers and are only able to repay their loan after they have sold their seasonal harvest.
