Belen Saromines

When times are hard, it’s tempting for owners of grocery stores to consume items from their own shelves. Belen (59) runs a shop in a market near their village. It takes $40 a day, but this is barely enough to support her school-age children. With stocks low, her shelves look bare and sales are suffering. Belen requests a loan to buy fresh supplies, as she knows new lines will boost sales and provide more income for the family.

Cambodia Loan Repayments
Most loans in Cambodia are repaid in a single final installment. In this case, you will receive only one repayment notification instead of monthly updates. This is because many of TPC's clients are farmers and are only able to repay their loan after they have sold their seasonal harvest.
