TPC

Thaneakea Phum Cambodia (TPC) is a credit union that has a social vision and a business orientation that provides poor women with the economic opportunities to transform the quality of their lives and their communities. Established in 1994, TPC now has 40 branches and 95% of its clients live in rural areas. More than 40% of their clients are under the national poverty line, and 85% of their loans go to women.

If you have made a loan to one of TPC's clients, please be aware that some of their loans are repaid in a single, final installment, meaning that you will receive only one repayment notification at the end of the loan (as opposed to our approximately monthly updates). This is because many of TPC's clients are farmers and are only able to repay their loan after they have sold their seasonal harvest. You can learn more about repayments at the FAQ.
